Alea Publishing announces the launch of the Single-Use Event Basel on 19 March at the Messe Basel conference centre today. Following the success of the Dutch edition, the annual Single-Use Event in Leiden, we are continuing with the same compact formula: one day, a high-quality program, an exhibition of leading manufacturers and suppliers, and plenty of opportunity for practical case studies and networking.
Basel is a natural home for the (bio)pharmaceutical industry. Switzerland is a global player in this sector, with approximately 47,900 direct jobs in the sector and a multitude of indirect employment opportunities. In the Basel region alone, approximately 27,500 people work for pharmaceutical companies. The presence of Roche, Novartis, Lonza, Boehringer Ingelheim and numerous biotech scale-ups ensures short lines of communication with R&D, production and QA/QC.
The city is also built on international trade fairs. Messe Basel offers large-scale, flexible spaces, easily accessible via EuroAirport and the Basel SBB train hub. This enables rapid set-up and dismantling and a pleasant visitor flow.
“With Basel, we are connecting Europe’s strongest life sciences and (bio)pharma ecosystem to an efficient, hands-on setting for suppliers and end users,” says Roeland Dobbelaer, director of Alea Publishing. “Visitors can count on concrete learnings about bioproduction, single-use innovations and transparent discussions.”
Visit the website for more information. Companies and organisations can register to participate starting today. More information about the lecture program, the speakers and registration will follow shortly.
Mark Thursday 19 March in your diary. We look forward to seeing you in Basel next year!
